Now you are going to learn, that how properly meet , greeting and say goodbye to someone in English language. the simple way to say someone when you meet is "Hello" basically this word is used by the native speakers most of times but you say "Hi" also to people you meet.
Difference Between "Hello & Hi"
When you meet with your friends or people who are same in with your age then you should use "Hi"
But when you are going to meet with you teacher, Boss at job, or people who are elders are older than you then you should use "Hello" to show the formal expressions.

The word good afternoon is used after 12 PM when we meet someone after the half day passed then we say Hi good afternoon.

Word good night is used when we are talking with someone in the night when before going to the bed we say to others ok good night and have a good dreams.
